To run many of the experiences and apps on the Apple Vision Pro, Wi-Fi is required.
Apple Vision Pro is not suitable for use with glasses, as they can interfere with the eye-tracking system. Users who require vision correction may need contact lenses during use. For retail purchases, Zeiss prescription inserts are available, however these are not supplied with rentals.
To play PC based VR games, the requirements to use the free ALVR app can be found here.
To use the iRacing Connect app, an iRacing account is required. Their technical requirements include a PC with a Nvidia 4070Ti+ or 5070Ti+ running driver version 580+, and a Wi-Fi router capable of over 1000Mbps on the 5Ghz band (Wi-Fi 6 +).
For X-Plane Streaming Link, a copy of X-Plane 12.4.3 or newer is required, a high end PC and high end Wi-Fi setup. This is currently a Beta version, which can be downloaded from the X-Plane Installer.
We use NZ Post to send the Apple Vision Pro to you anywhere in New Zealand, and include a return courier label to use during your last day of the rental. More information can also be seen in our how Rentals Work page.
